This statement explains what information Flint Home Decor collects when you read the site, and why.
What the site collects
Reading the guides needs no sign-up: there are no reader accounts, no comment forms and no mailing list, so no name or email address is collected. The web host and Cloudflare, the network that delivers the pages, record each request in their logs (the IP address, the browser and the page asked for) to keep the site secure and working.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides readers find useful. It sets analytics cookies, asks Google to shorten IP addresses, and turns off Google’s advertising and personalization features. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first, and analytics stays off unless they accept; the choice is remembered in the browser’s local storage on that device. Analytics is not loaded for site editors who are signed in.
Calculators
Calculators do their arithmetic on your own device. Room sizes and other values entered into them never leave the page, and nothing is saved.
Links to other sites
Guides link to makers, retailers, code publishers and public agencies, each with its own privacy policy.
If you write to the site, your message and address are used only to reply and to correct the guides. They are not added to any list or shared.
